Kit Rinehart, 86, of Sagle passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Bonner General Hospital.
A potluck and time of sharing will be held at noon on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at New Song Bible Church in Sagle. Private inurnment will take place at Tahoma National Cemetery.
Kit was born May 23, 1926 in Steubenville, Ohio the daughter of Daniel and Rachel Elliott Daugherty. She was raised in Ohio and as a young girl moved with her family to Phoenix, AZ. She graduated from Phoenix Union High School and later attended college there for two years.
On Feb. 7, 1948 she married Warren W. Rinehart in Phoenix. They lived in Phoenix until moving to Chandler, TX in 1983. In 1991 she moved to Sandpoint. During her working career she was a receptionist, secretary and in 1995, after moving to Sandpoint, worked for Mountain Communications Answering Service, Sandpoint Women’s Health, and Life Care.
Kit was a gracious, kind, sweet woman who would help anyone in need. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, and knitting. She was member of New Song Bible Church in Sagle.
She is survived by her two children: Dan Rinehart of Sagle, Murry (Steve) Butler of Sandpoint; 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; 1 sister: Mary Ellen Wallace of Lake Palestine, TX; 3 special friends: Darlene Coon, Carol Bauer, and Penny McGuire. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1999, her parents and grandparents.
