Ronald Leslie Britton, 76, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2013 in Spokane, Washington after a courageous battle with cancer.
A pot luck celebration of life will be conducted on Sunday, May 5, 2013, at 12:00 pm, in the VFW Hall.
Ronald was born at his parents in Brainerd, MN on Nov. 20, 1936, the son of Ray and Helen Britton. He attended schools in Brainerd, MN and joined the US Navy at the age of 17. He married Toni Graft on Nov. 27, 1965 and worked for Ford Motor Company in Brainerd, MN.
In 1975 he moved to the Sandpoint area and started building houses. He was an active member of the Bonner County Sportsman Association enjoying hunting, fishing and camping. He loved watching NASCAR, reading puzzles and sport programs on TV.
Ronald is survived by his wife, of 47 years, Toni Britton in Sandpoint, ID; children Neil Sabyan and Ronda Havens in Winnemucca, NV; Dawn Love in Post Falls, ID; Leigh Britton and Aaron Britton in Sandpoint, ID; 13 grandchildren; six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ronald is preceded in death by his parents Ray and Helen, Brother Keith Britton and son Glen Sabyan.
