Gavin Duncan Wallis

Gavin D. Wallis, 70, died suddenly of a stroke on July 11th after a short bout with cancer. Private family services will take place at a later time. Gavin had been a resident of Sandpoint for over thirty years. He was also a navy veteran who served in active duty aboard a submarine for eight years. He continued to serve in the Navy Reserve for several more years, finally retiring in 1990. He is survived by his sisters: Benna, Helena, Harriet, Molly, and his brother Mike.
