Anna Marie Stutzke (Weisz), 92, passed away on April 18, 2025 in Sandpoint, Idaho
Ann was born on August 28, 1932 in Sandpoint, Idaho the daughter of John and Magdalena Weisz. She attended Kootenai Grade School and graduated from Sandpoint High School.
She married Ray Stutzke on July 4, 1950 in Superior, Montana. Together they enjoyed metal detecting, gold panning, antique bottle hunting and gardening.
Ann was an amazing seamstress, making clothes for her entire family and especially making baby clothes and quilts. She did amazing upholstery work on everything from furniture to boat covers.
Her passion was music and playing guitar. She loved signing with her family and friends. You never knew when she was going to cut loose with one of her favorite yodeling songs!
Ann is survived by her five children; Ron and Ruby Stutzke, Connie and Curt Bucklin, Dorene and Dan Balch, Rod and Lo Stutzke, Robert Stutzke and Linda Hone. Her sister Mary Mitton and brother John Weisz along with 15 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ray Stutzke, her parents John and Magdalena Weisz, sisters Katherine Gerber, Elizabeth Kemp, Barbara Bouse and Maggie Dockins-Barret, and her brothers Joe, Pete and George Weisz.
Because of her inability to stand or walk, Ann spent her last months at Life Care Center of Sandpoint. We would like to thank the staff for their loving and kind care.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am, Saturday, May 3, 2025 in Coffelt’s Funeral Chapel. Interment will take place in Pinecrest Memorial Park.
