It is with deep sorrow that we make known the passing of Christine Marie Rasor on August 14, 2026. Beloved wife, mother, daughter, daughter in law, sister, sister-in-law and a friend to so many, Christine was born June 13, 1984, in Houston Texas, to Rae Jean and Mike Cosby. The youngest of seven children she was the light of her parent’s life spending much of her time helping them whenever difficulties arose. She was always there when needed for her extended family as well, be it painting all the doors of her mother and father in law’s house or help with organizing a gathering. In fact, helping others was a trademark of Christine’s personality. She was always ready to do what she could when she found out about someone in need of assistance.
Christine made her family a priority, she was a loving wife and partner to her husband Nathan and a fierce protector of her son Mason and her stepchildren Adrienne, Benjamin, and Chase. (Although she detested the term ‘step’ and thought of them as her own) Her outgoing personality brightened every family occasion, and the entire family treasured her company. She was thoughtful and kind, treating everyone with respect and when she bestowed her beautiful smile upon you it would improve your day immeasurably. Christine had a big personality and a big heart; her family is bereft at the unexpected loss of someone so central to their lives.
Christine is survived by her husband, Nathan Rasor, her children, Mason Rasor, Adrienne (Aidan) Miller, Benjamin Rasor and Chase Rasor, her parents, Rae Jean and Mike Cosby, honorary daughter Megan Tope, six siblings and numerous nieces and nephews.
A remembrance for Christine is scheduled for family and close friends on August 28, 2026, 4:00 PM at Harvest Valley Church, 86 Hidden Valley Road, Sandpoint Idaho. A simple meal will be served.
