Their first daughter was born in 1959. In 1961, once Cliff’s service was completed, they moved to the Northwest where he grew up. After a brief stop up Pack River road north of Sandpoint they went on to settle in Skyway, WA. There their second daughter was born. Later they moved to Renton, WA where their third daughter was born. In 1969 they moved back to Upper Pack River Road where they raised their daughters. They moved to Sandpoint in 2007 and then to Sagle in 2024.
Cliff loved to laugh and joke. He loved fishing, hunting, archery, pitching horseshoes and hiking the mountains of upper Pack River where they raised their daughters. Most of all he loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He participated in and was very active in various ministries at the Assembly Church (now Parkside Church) throughout the years. He was a jack-of-all-trades, from wiring 747’s at Boeing, logging, building houses, selling seafood and more.
