Dean Louis Press

Dean Louis Press, 69, passed away unexpectedly, on Thursday, April 18, 2019.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00pm, Thursday, April 25, 2019, in Coffelt’s Funeral Chapel.  Military Honors will be provided by the National Guard.

Dean was born in Spokane, Washington on July 11, 1949 the son of Dean O and Maria Press.  He Grew up in Spokane, Washington, graduating from North Central High School in 1967.  He joined the US Army, serving in Vietnam with the 1^st Infantry Division out of Ft Riley, Kansas, earning two overseas bars and the Vietnam Service Medal.

Returning home he worked as a private contractor in home construction, and married Carolyn Buchanan on April 7, 1972.

He is survived by his wife Carol, daughters Tamara  (Tony Poelstra), Shelly (Dexter Soule) and Tara.  Also surviving are five grandchildren, his brother Terry, his sister Maria, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother George.
