Georgia Eulalia Caven

Georgia Eulalia Ramsay Caven, 60, passed away on June 16th, 2021 in Sandpoint, Idaho.

 

Georgia was born to George and Eulalia Ramsay on April 10th, 1961 in Hawthorne, California. She moved to Sandpoint in 1975 where she graduated from Sandpoint High School. At the young age of 17, she met the love of her life, Vern Caven, while riding the school bus. They married on May 12th, 1979 and raised three sons, Rick, Michael and James. 

 

Georgia helped run the family business, Ace Septic Tank, for 15 years and was known by many for her witty humor. Georgia was a strong-willed woman with a love for witches, referred to by family as Aunt Witchypoo. She had a passion for her family and a protective feist that could not be matched.

 

Georgia is survived by her husband, Vern; two sons; Rick and James; mother and father, Eulalia and George Ramsay; mother and father in-law, Pam and Vern Caven; granddaughter, Camille; grandsons, Xander, Seth and Westin; brothers Ray (Lisa), Al (Stacie), Robert (Ronda) and Carl (Jen); brother in-law, Jeff (Dana); sister in-law, Lisa; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Tia. She is predeceased by her son, Michael, and her sister, Glennis.

 

A memorial service was held with family and close friends on Saturday, June 19th at Coffelt Funeral Home. Burial took place at Pinecrest Memorial Park, where she rests beside her son, Michael, and sister, Glennis.
