James Kevin Loosemore

James (Jim) Loosemore, age 64, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 14, at the Lifecare Center in Sandpoint, ID.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 in Pinecrest Memorial Park.

Jim was born December 7, 1958, in Gary, Indiana.  After graduating from Chesterton High School in Chesterton Indiana, Jim worked as a third-generation steelworker at US Steel.

In 1982, Jim moved to LaClede Idaho, bought land on the side of a mountain and built a cabin, He later joined the LaClede Community Church and was grateful for their support, especially Pastor Dan Moore.   Jim was an outdoorsman and loved adventure.  He lived in Florida for a short time before settling in Idaho. 

He is survived by siblings Carol, Tim and Rob.
