Listen to Obituary

On Sunday, January 4th, 2026, Jeanne Marie Dreisbach (Pucci) passed away peacefully in Hope, Idaho with several family members by her side. She was a devoted wife and an amazing mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her love for her family was unmatched. She was also a faithful follower of God and devoted Catholic.

Jeanne was born on October 8th, 1939, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho to Evelyn and Geino Pucci. Jeanne was the oldest of six children. She graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1957. She was a lifeguard at Sandpoint City Beach for several years. As a lover of the beach and sun, this was the perfect job for her.

If you knew Jeanne, then you knew her kindness, incredible sense of humor, and her warmth. She was the heart and soul of her family, and every moment spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was a treasure to her. They brought her so much joy, and her love for them was endless.

Jeanne was a dedicated volunteer throughout her life. She volunteered over the years at the CDA Cancer Center, St. Thomas Church, Sacred Heart Church, Catholic Charities, March of Dimes, 4-H, Girl Scouts, Harding Elementary, and more.

Jeanne married the love of her life, Phil Dreisbach, on June 16, 1962. They were married 62 years before Phil passed away in January 2024. Jeanne and Phil raised three daughters in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and built a life centered on family.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Phil, her daughter Jan Whitcomb, her brother Skip Pucci and her sister Janice Pucci. She is survived by her daughters, Mary (Mark) Monroe and Jane Soltys; her eight grandchildren, Amanda (Chris) Bremer, Melinda (Justin) Bender, Travis (Haley Morris) Monroe, Philip (Sabrina) Whitcomb, Kassie Whitcomb, Hanna (Nick) Schultheis, Kattie (Justin Reed) Whitcomb, and Matthew Whitcomb; and her seven great-grandchildren, Brielle, Gavin and Coleson Bremer; Malcolm Bender; and Emerie, Harlow, and Kaiden Whitcomb. She is also survived by her siblings, Jim Pucci, John Pucci, and Jannine Falk and numerous nieces and nephews.

Our Nene will forever be loved and missed deeply.
