John Joseph Clancy

John “Jack” Clancy, 83, passed away on February 24, 2026, in Sandpoint.

Dad to Peter, Jim ant Tom Clancy. Granddad to 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Partnership and marriage to Mary Jane for over 62 years. Graduated, with honors, from high school in Cardinal Hayes, New York. He earned his bachelor” degree from Manhattan College EE, in Electrical engineering.

He worked in defense and aerospace throughout the United Staters. He ran a hobby farm in Southern Oregon, traveling and caring for family’s animals and their homes as a “trusted house sitter.” He had served, as a host, in state parks in Florida and Oregon.

Jack loved reading, music and travel. His sense of humor, humility, integrity and honesty was endearing. He is missed Greatly.
