John Robert Clerique III

John Robert Clerique the 3rd, passed away in Sandpoint, Id, on Thursday August, 14, 2025 at the the age of 78.  Family services will be held at a later date.

John was born on May 7, 1947, in Peoria, Illinois, the son of John, and Lois Clerique the 2nd.  The family moved to the Encino Valley in California.  He attended local schools and graduated from high school.  On October 24, 1966 he joined the US Army, serving in Vietnam, being discharged on August 25, 1969.  On July 19, 1975 he married Joy Reise.  He worked as a master carpenter, in construction, moving to the Sandpoint area in 1978.  He Loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his wife Joy Clerique, daughter Maranda Clerique and his son Keith Clerique.  Two grandchildren Ixander and Kai Clerique.  Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
