She was born to Harvey and Helen Frappier in Winona, Minnesota, July 31st, 1927. She was the oldest of 7 children, including 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

She grew up in Fryburg, North Dakota where she graduated high school with perfect attendance all 12 years. She enjoyed playing basketball in school and was selfless and hard-working even as a child.

She had four daughters Karen, Judy, Shirley, and Donna; one son Clarence; three stepsons Lewis, Lynn, and Lee; 16 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Her impressive work ethic was displayed throughout her career working in commercial fishing, mill production, and bartending before retiring as a manager at the Eagles 589 Lodge—where she was a member for over 60 years. Even after retirement she continued her dedication by volunteering at the Senior’s Thrift Store for several years.

Throughout her life, she loved spending time with her family, fishing, gardening, dancing, listening to country music, watching football and Nascar, doing word-searches, and playing bingo, pinochle, cribbage, and pool.

Lucille was preceded in death by her father Harvey and mother Helen; her siblings Sylvia, Caroline, Harriet, Loretta, James, and Leon; her children Karen and Clarence "Ole"; her best friend Irma; and her beloved husband of 28 years Harold.
