LORRAINE MARGARET MASON 80

Born on May 4, 1941 at Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, Margaret left us on December 28, 2021 in her 81st year, to join the angels in heaven.  Margaret has always been an angel to those around her. She was married to Ed Mason who survives her and in 59 years together they raised eight children, have 26 grandchildren and eight and a half great grandchildren.  She was more than equal to the task of bearing and raising 8 children, in addition adding to the family income by selling scriptural audio and video tape sets in Canada where she was Regional Sales Director for the company.  Later after moving to America she continued to work in sales, often being at the top in monthly sales, and earned trips to Hawaii and Cancun Mexico.  Following a move to Tacoma, Washington, she began demonstrating and selling food items in the military commissaries usually selling many more pallets of product than any other salesperson.  Margaret was an angel friend to everyone and touched many lives for the good.  She loved sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with those around her.  Learning and teaching were her favorite pastimes and she served as a home school teacher for some of her children, grandchildren and others. Many youth have indicated they got their patriotism and love of American and world history from her. She accumulated a library of some five thousand books and would read and summarize books and e-mail her summaries regularly to several hundred friends and family.  Funeral services will be held in the chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 602 Schweitzer Cutoff Road across from the county fairgrounds in Ponderay, at 11 am, Saturday, January 8, 2022.  She will be interred in the lovely Pack River Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service of Sandpoint, Idaho.  Margaret will be sorely missed by her family and by all who knew and loved her.
