Marjorie Annabelle Nance went to be with her Lord following a 7-year battle with Alzheimer’s disease on May 23, 2025. She was 100 years 7 months old.

She was born October 30, 1924 to Eva and William Richardson in Silver City, New Mexico. She graduated from high school at St. Mary’s Academy and went on to be a book keeper in a physician’s office.

Marjorie met Richard (Dick) Nance on a blind date in Deming, New Mexico and they were married on January 21, 1945 at Bergstrom Field, Austin, Texas where Dick was in the Army Air Corp. They enjoyed 55 years of marriage together before Dick passed away.

During their years together Dick was also in the US Air Force. Their Many assignments included California, Texas, Maine, Michigan, and New York.

In 1985 then made Sandpoint, Idaho their permanent residence to be near their children. Out of all the places they lived, Marge always said “Sandpoint, Idaho was the best”.
