After a full life of love, stories, and service, Ollie Marie went home to be with her Lord on January 4, 2026.
Ollie was born on June 19, 1934, in Moravia, Idaho, to Ben and Minnie Perry. From the very beginning, her life was rooted in faith, family, and a deep appreciation for God’s creation.
Ollie found great joy in the outdoors—camping, fishing, and spending time surrounded by family were among her greatest pleasures. She lived simply, loved deeply, and shared her stories freely, always ready with warmth and kindness for those around her.
Her faith was strong and never failing. Ollie trusted in God throughout her life and carried that faith into every season. In her later years, she shared special bonds with the caregivers and staff at Luther Park, where she showed gratitude, kindness, and genuine love to all who cared for her. We believe she made a lasting impact on the hearts of those workers, just as they did on hers.
Ollie was preceded in death by her first husband, Allen; her second husband, Charlie; her parents, Ben and Minnie Perry; her brothers, Leon and Junior; and her youngest daughter, Lori
She is lovingly survived by her daughters, Mary Ann Arndt, (Paul) Cathie Klopfenstein, (Roger) and Carol Sommerfeld (Norm); her grandchildren, Andrea, David, Sarah, Phillip, Libby, Emelie, and Scott; and her great-grandchildren who brought her much joy.
Ollie’s legacy is one of steadfast faith, gentle strength, and unconditional love. Her life touched many, and her memory will continue to live on through the family she cherished and the lives she influenced.
We rejoice in knowing that Ollie is now at peace, welcomed home with open arms.
Well done, good and faithful servant.
A Celebration of Life for Ollie will be held at First Lutheran Church, Olive and Ontario at 1:00 P.M. on January 12, 2026.
