Peter Michael
Douglas
Apr 12, 1993 — May 30, 2026
Peter Michael Douglas passed away on May 30, 2026, at the age of 33 in Sagle, Idaho.
Peter was born on April 12, 1993, in Soldotna, Alaska to Marylyn Michelle Lunde and Michael Lee Douglas. Pete spent his early childhood exploring the woods of the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska before moving down to Sandpoint, Idaho, in 2001.
Pete enjoyed many different adventures that life had to offer from the moment he could. He played baseball and football for most of his childhood before pursuing other passions in life. Pete loved going fishing with his Grandpa and brothers, going hunting with friends and making people laugh. He was always trying to put a smile on people's faces and bring joy to whatever room he was in. He was a huge animal lover, with an enormous soft spot for pitbulls. Pete later found a love for anything with a motor, especially if he could drive it.
Peter was an extrovert, finding a reason to talk to anyone and everyone. He had an outgoing charm that was infectious and wanted everyone to feel loved, for he was a kind and sympathetic man. Pete had an ever-evolving lust for life and adventure, never staying idle too long.
Today, Pete survived by his mother, Marylyn Michelle Lunde - Les Davis; his father, Michael Lee Douglas; and his brother, James Patrick Douglas. Peter also lives on through his son, William Michael Lee Douglas; grandparents, Kenneth and Celeste Lunde; great-grandmother, Marilyn Gallagher; cousins, Rebecca and Alex Jones; and numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins living in Idaho and Alaska.
Funeral services for Peter will be held on June 19, 2026, at 4 p.m. at the Sandpoint VFW Post 2453, located at 1325 Pine St., Sandpoint, Idaho. There will be a potluck dinner for those who wish to come and celebrate the life and memory of Peter Michael Douglas.
