Roger Ramon Rushing, age 83, passed away on January 28 in Sandpoint, Idaho. He was born on August 20, 1942, in Jacksonville, Florida.

Roger is survived by his daughter, Tracie Finney and her husband Scott of Sandpoint, Idaho; his son, Tod M. Rushing and his wife Corrine of Priest River, Idaho; his daughter, Danielle Richardson and her husband Joe of San Diego, California; and his son, Jeff Lande and his wife May of Ontario, Oregon. He also leaves behind many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as beloved cousins. He is survived by his brother, Rick Rushing of San Diego, California, and his sister, Jackie Leverone of San Diego, California.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Darla Rushing.

Roger spent the last year and a half of his life at the Finney Farm, where he enjoyed the wildlife and beautiful North Idaho scenery. He found joy in simple pleasures — collecting coins, visiting the local coin shop, fishing whenever he could, and spending hours metal detecting.
