 Ronald Lee Reese 78, passed away on March 5, 2019 in Sandpoint, Idaho. Ronald was born on May 4, 1940 in Billings, Montana to Donald Reese and Johnie Holloway.

Ron loved adventure and the outdoors. He spent most of his teen years hunting and fishing. At the age of 17 he joined the United States Navy and served proudly for 4 ½ years.

After leaving the Navy he moved to Salt Lake City, UT in 1961, where he welcomed his first child, LeAnn. Ron found the catch of his life in Murray, UT, Peggy Reese. After a short courtship they got married on December 10, 1966. IN 1968 they moved to Hailey, Idaho where they welcomed their first daughter together, Ronie Renae in 1971. While in Hailey/Sun valley area Ron started his construction career. In 1972 they moved to Sandpoint, Idaho. Ron and Peggy welcomed their only son, Don Reese.

During the 47 years in the Sandpoint area, Ron fished, hunted, trapped and built homes to support his family. Ron also enjoyed his wife make her Sunday school crafts with a smile on his face.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, step father and his sister in law Holly Reese and step brother George Loomis Jr.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Peggy, his brother Rodney "Pepper" Reese, Daughters LeAnn Wadsworth, Ronie Sennett, Son Don (Tamara) Reese, grandchildren, Sierra, Bryce & Lillee Sennett, Nathan, Gabrielle, & Pearl Reese, Amanda Leija, Trevor Wadsworth, three bonus grandchildren Joey, Kevin and Jordan Porta. Six great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and the best friend a man could ever have, Don (Dottie) Judy.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 12:00 to 2:00 at Coffelt Funeral Chapel.
