Stanley Wayne
Allen
Sep 4, 1947 — Jul 5, 2026
Stanley Wayne Allen beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away July 5th, 2026.
A man of steady hands and a generous heart, Stan spent his life building, fixing, and creating all things great and small. He was grumpy but kind, hardworking, and adventurous. Stan was an intelligent and talented man who graduated with a degree in electrical technology, and ran his own business, A-1 Repair, which reflected his honest, dependable nature.
Stan served our country in the US Army as a Radio Operator while stationed in Germany. During his years of service, Stan and his wife Cheryl, whom he shared 57 devoted years of marriage with, traveled Europe together creating memories that shaped the foundation of their lifelong bond. They raised two wonderful children: Justin (Melissa), with whom he shared countless days camping and fishing, and Amanda (Cesar), with whom he loved collecting rocks and exploring the natural world.
Stan was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Vivian Allen of Hope, and his sisters Caroline, Betty, Bonnie, Donna, and Beverly, though their memories remained close to him throughout his life.
He leaves behind his four children, eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, his loyal brother Steve (Caroline), and many adoring nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a father figure and inspiration to many, each carrying forward the lessons, laughter, and love he shared so freely.
Stan passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family, with his lifelong best friend, Dave Hunt (Millie), at his bedside. The two had been inseparable since childhood, sharing a lifetime of motorcycle riding, camping, hunting, and navigating life together with loyalty and brotherhood.
A memorial service will be held during the family’s annual reunion on the first weekend in August for those who wish to pay their respects.
Family and friends are invited to sign Stan’s online guest book at www.coffeltfuneal.com.
Arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service.
