Stanley Joseph Kwake passed away on December 11, 2025, at the age of 81.

Stan was born on October 11, 1944, and grew up with a strong work ethic and independent spirit that stayed with him throughout his life. He graduated from Yucaipa High School and went on to build a life defined by hard work, determination, and entrepreneurship. Always an entrepreneur at heart, Stan founded his own company, Nat Pro, which he proudly operated until just a few years ago.

On August 14, 1965, Stan married Judy Sisemore, and together they raised three children: Kerry Anderson, Kevin Kwake, and Kimberly Keib. A devoted husband and father, Stan later revealed a deeply compassionate side when he became Judy’s primary caretaker during her courageous battle with cancer. Taking on a role far different from any he had known before, he stood faithfully by her side with strength, patience, and unwavering love until her passing in April 2009. He was a proud father, grandfather to nine grandchildren, and great-grandfather to three great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy.

On September 22, 2011 Stan married Debra Riordan, gaining the role of stepfather to Robert, Janessa, and Isaac. He cherished his blended family and the relationships he built with them over the years.

A reflection from his wife, Debra Riordan:

Many people were unaware of Stan’s remarkable generosity. Through nationwide billboards and the sponsorship of several orphans in Honduras, his philanthropy was extensive, though he shunned recognition and accolades. Stan embodied a rare blend of kindness, integrity, and determination, and he lived life on his own terms. Debra will cherish the 16 years they shared together, honoring his legacy as he intended. His influence made her a better person, and she only wished they had been given more time.

Stan will be remembered for his drive, resilience, quiet generosity, and unwavering commitment to providing for his family. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched, the family’s he loved deeply, and the business he built from the ground up.

A memorial service honoring Stan’s life will be held on Thursday, December 18, at 2:00 p.m. at Coffelt Funeral Home, located at 109 N. Division Ave., Sandpoint, Idaho 83864.
