Timothy James Everhart

Timothy James Everhart, 67, died on October 28^th, of natural causes, at his home in Sandpoint, Idaho.  He was born in Omaha, Nebraska on June 11, 1953, the son of James and Janet Everhart.

The family moved, from Omaha, to Gretna, Nebraska in 1960.  In Gretna, he attended local schools, graduating from Gretna High School in 1971.  He then graduated from UNO, in Omaha, Nebraska with a chemistry degree.  He was a member of St Patrick’s Catholic Church in Gretna, Nebraska.  He worked for the Gretna Guide & News for many years, also working part time at Nebraski Ski area near Gretna.  In his spare time, he would help neighbors with snow removal and lawn care.  He loved reading.

He moved to Sandpoint, ID, with his parents, to be near family. His father died in 2018, in Sandpoint.  He is survived by his mother Janet; sister Rochelle (Ken) Russell of Sandpoint; brothers William (Charlotte) Everhart of Hope; and Charles (Wendy) Everhart of Sandpoint; numerous nieces and nephews; his aunt Marilyn Holmquist in Lincoln, Nebraska and many cousins around the country.

Family services will be held later with inurnment in the Hope Cemetery.
