Warren Al Burton, born July 18, 1956 passed away on February 4, 2026 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, surrounded by his children.

Warren was born on July 18, 1956 in Soda Springs, Idaho to parents C. Lyle Burton and Benda Burton, completing their family as the youngest of six.

In 1972, Warren met Margie Burton, and they later married in 1974. Together they welcomed and raised their three children, Glen, Gina, and Warren. Over the next 22 years, they built a life side by side raising their family and sharing many meaningful memories. Though they later divorced, they remained good friends.

In 1996, Warren met Kerry Collison, with whom he would share the next 30 years of his life. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. They enjoyed fishing, spending time outdoors, and gathering with family and friends. Kerry was his partner in both adventure and everyday life, and together they created countless memories that will be cherished by all who knew them.

Warren found his greatest joy in the simple and meaningful things in life — hiking through the outdoors, fishing quiet waters, hunting, and taking early morning drives to spot wildlife. He was always down for a good time and believed “the more, the merrier”. Above all, he treasured time spent with friends and family.

He will be remembered for his deep love of nature, his steady presence, his lively spirit, and the way he valued gathering with those he loved most.

Warren was preceded in death by his father, C. Lyle Burton; his mother, Benda Burton; his sister, Fern Burton; his brother, Duane Burton; his stepson, Chris Collison; and his partner, Kerry Collison.

He is survived by his sons, Glen (Chelsi) Burton, Warren Burton; his stepson, Jack (Darra) Collison; and his daughter, Gina (Israel) Singer. He also leaves behind many beloved grandchildren, extended family members, and dear friends who will carry his memory forward.

Warren’s legacy lives on in the trails he walked, the waters he fished, the wildlife he admired, and the countless memories shared with those who loved him.

In honor of Warren, take an early morning drive, cast a line into the water, gather your family close, and remember that life is meant to be shared — the more, the merrier.
